Thank God for the nice sunny waether that we had today, we got some break from all those rainy days. It was perfect for our very first Vacation Bible School that we finally got to have.
There is still a curfew going on but the government relaxed the curfew between 7AM and 12PM so we were able to have our VBS from 9AM to 11AM.
There were about 40-50 kids from 1st grade to 3rd grade. It was held at a public school nearby. Indian staffs helped us out and we had a such a great time.
We had a time of praise in the beginning and then the kids were divided into 3 groups. There were 3 stations-magic station was led by Daniel, crafts, Annie and Hyo jung led the body worship class. Kids were so adorable and seemed like they had a great time.
Out team was also very excited to meet the kids after the long break that we had. The Indian staffs seemed like they were enjoying the program too.
We are going to have another meeting for 1st-3rd grade class tomorrow and then right after, we are going to have another one for 4th-6th grade class. Please pray that our team will be well prepared and serve them with the love of Christ and also that many kids will come to know the love of Christ through the VBS. We will be having VBS until Friday and have a dance class for one day and then leave to Guahatti on Fri.
We are just so thankful that even during this time of trouble, we were able to have VBS during the short relax time. Please continous to pray for us and pastor Banner Makan's family because there is a still strike going on, on the other part of the town and there can be another riot any minute. Thank you so much for all of your prayer. Because of your prayer support, we are safe and are able to do ministry here. We pray for church everyday here too.
