It's raining season here now and we never saw raining so much like today. It felt so good, clean, as if all of our worries were all washed away.

Our team is staying at Pastor Banner's house. We were planning of visiting a church yesterday but there is a big riot going on in the city. There is a curfew so people can't move around and the whole street is guarded by government army and police. We cannot really do any kind of ministry until the curfew is stopped.

So our team just spending time resting, doing some practice, getting to know the people and the culture here while we are staying at pastor's house.

We felt bad for not being able to do the ministry that we had planned to do here at first. But God is teaching us many things in this time of rest and we are continuously seeking after His will. We are surely experiencing so many interesting things that we will never be able to experience anywhere else. Many stories to tell.

Please continue to pray for us and the whole situation in the city, that God will be in control and open the door for us to share the Gospel. I think the curfew is going to go on for another few days. Please pray that God will keep all of us safe and that we will be just humble and obedient servant.

이곳은 지금 장마철입니다,  오늘처럼 비가 내리는 것을 예전에 본적이 없을 정도로 많은 비가 내리고 있습니다.  하지만 비때문에 저희들의 염려도 다 씻겨내리는것 같아서 기분은 좋고, 또 모든 것이 깨끗하게 보입니다.

저희는 지금 배너마칸 선교사님댁에 머무르고 있습니다.  원래 계획은 어제 교회로 갈 예정이었지만, 도시 전역에 폭동이 있어서 그렇게 하지 못했습니다.  현재는 통행금지 상태로 사람들의 통행이 제한되어 있고, 각 도로마다 군인과 경찰들이 삼엄하게 경계를 펴고 있습니다.  통행금지가 해제될 때까지는 사역을 진행할 수가 없을 것 같습니다.

따라서 저희팀은 당분간 선교사님댁에 머무르며  휴식과 함께 공연연습, 그리고 이곳의 문화와 사람들을 알아가는 일에 주력하려 합니다.  

저희들이 이곳에서 먼저 해야될 사역을 하지 못해 실망스럽지만, 하나님의 뜻을 찾는 가운데 하나님께서는 남은 사역일정속에서 많은 것들을 저희들에게 가르쳐 주시고 계십니다.  하지만, 분명한 것은 저희들이 그 어떤 곳에서 경험해 볼 수 없는 흥미로운 것들을 이곳에서 경험하고 있다는 것입니다.

나누고 싶은 많은 것들이 있습니다.  이곳 상황이 호전되어 저희들이 복음을 나눌 수 있는 기회가 빨리 오도록, 그리고 저희들 자신을 위해 기도해 주십시오.  저희 생각에는 이 통행금지가 며칠 더 갈 것 같습니다.  아무쪼록 이곳에서 저희들의 안전을 위하여,  또한 겸손한 자세로 순종하는 청지기적 사역이 될 수 있도록 기도해 주십시오.
